The Temba Satallite Electricity Depot will be opened tomorrow 16 November 2017 at the Jubilee Road, Temba (next to Temba Police Station.
Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) responsible for Utility Services, Cllr Darryl Moss, said Region 2 has serious backlogs of infrastructure including depots such as this one.
“In an effort to deal with the backlog and bring services closer to the people of Hammanskraal, a satellite electricity depot will be opened,” she said.
She added that the operationalization of this satellite depot is another initiative by the city to bring services closer to the people and to improve on the turnaround times for registered service delivery complaints.
