Mr John Madise and Mr Simon M Kekana of Amandebele Ba Moletlane traditional authority.

The Amandebele ba Moletlane Traditional Authority under the Kekana Royal Executive Council relieved two of its headmen of their duties.

The secretary of the Amandebele ba Moletlane, Mr John Madise, said the Traditional Authority had no choice but to release Mr Rapitsi Unique Mohaleamolla and Mr Philip Mabuzathe because the Traditional Authority cannot stop the Headsmen from practicing their wish.

The alleged dismissal comes after a difference on the choice of succession of the late Fonko Kekana. According to Amandebele ba Moletlane Traditional Authority, Mr Mohaleamolla and Mr Mabuza decided to take a different option from Amandebele ba Moletlane which resulted in their release.

“We would therefore like to inform communities under their jurisdiction that Mr Mohaleamolla and Mr Mabuza are no longer with Amandebele ba Moletlane for any headman leadership as from 12th of April 2019,” said Mr Madise.

He said their service were terminated with immediate effect as from 12th of April 2019 as headmen of various sections.
