Youth in Temba was invited to the Urban Council Chambers at the Temba Library Offices for an empowerment program.
The workshop was held on 05 March 2020 with the purpose to discuss the challenges young people face and to seek solutions.
Youth with companies, NGOs, sports, art and culture and those working in government attended. The meeting was also attended by youth in churches, event planners and youth involved in churches to help people.
The youth said they saw the need to come together to share ideas that can help deal with the rising unemployment.
In order to develop programs, seven youth volunteered to champion programs to groom young people.
