Thunder Bay Spur recently held a back-to-school campaign where they headed out stationery to school kids and will be hosting the Hammanskraal Spelling Bee event at the Jubilee Mall store.
The purpose of the event is to encourage young children to perform well at school and give away stationery hampers to young children.
Sihle Makama of Thunder Bay Spur said on Saturday 22 January 2022, the store will be hosting a spelling competition where children from Hammanskraal, aged 9-13 years old, will have an opportunity to showcase their lingual prowess to stand a chance to win stationery hamper worth R1000.00.
“Over 10 kids have registered for the competition and they will be cheered on by their parents,” he said.
