Temba police need information about the whereabouts of two suspects of armed robbery which occurred on the 1’st April 2020 around Temba.

Sergeant Herman Moremi of Corporate Communication SAPS Temba said on the day of the incident, about eight people were at the car wash next to the road sitting on chairs waiting for their vehicles when a silver VW polo stopped and two suspects alighted from it armed with firearms.

“They pointed the firearms at the patrons at the car wash, robbed them of their belongings, and fled the scene.

“The suspects are unknown, but the victims managed to give their description and also said both perpetrators were speaking Setswana and can be between the ages of 35 to 40 years old,” he said.

Police are appealing to community members to assist with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects. Anyone with information can call the crime stop line on 08600 10111 or 112 free from any network.

Members of the community are advised not to confront them as they should be regarded as armed and dangerous.

“Members of the community should give the police a tip-off of where they are hiding,” Sargent Moremi said.
