In an impressive show of skill and sportsmanship, the Hammanskraal Tennis Club (HTC) participated in the Lacoste Foundation Tournament held at the Groenkloof Tennis Stadium on November 8-9, 2025.
With representation from Greater Tshwane, 50 players were selected earlier this year, of which HTC secured an impressive 27 spots.
Ms Mpho Makhoba, Deputy Chairperson of the HTC, stated: “Competing in the prestigious Lacoste tournament, these young players not only showcased their skills but also engaged in important discussions on life skills, including a focus on gender-based violence (GBV). Their participation demonstrates a commitment to both athletic excellence and personal development.”
