Jabulane Christian Academy has recognised Grade 7 learner Ms Ofentse Sekhu for her exceptional academic performance and commendable character, marking what the school describes as a significant achievement for the institution.
According to Gerda Klopper, Marketing Specialist at Mpresif Marketing, representing the school, Ms Sekhu was awarded a record-breaking 17 Academic Awards, along with a Character Award for Integrity, reflecting both her scholastic excellence and commitment to the academy’s Christian values.
Throughout the academic year, Sekhu earned 80% or higher in all nine subjects, achieved above 85% in three subjects, and ranked as the top achiever in five of them. She also demonstrated measurable progress in Natural Sciences, improving her mark by 4 percentage points.
“With an impressive overall average of 85%, Ms Sekhu stands among the top achievers in Grade 7. The academy praised her dedication, discipline, and integrity, noting that her success continues to inspire fellow learners,” Ms Kloper said.
She added that the school gives thanks to God for what it views as the gifts and perseverance evident in Ms Sekhu’s work, describing the achievement as both remarkable and deeply motivating to the school community.
