The Temba SAPS are investigating a case of murder after a 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death by his boyfriend at Stinkwater RDP North of Pretoria yesterday on the 15 November 2021 at around 14:00.
Sergeant Herman Moremi of Corporate Communications SAPS Temba said it is alleged that the suspect’s sister heard an argument inside a shack between the suspect and the deceased and the door was locked. She further heard the deceased saying “sorry I won’t repeat that mistake again”. The sister went to call the suspect’s mother for help.
On arrival, they found the deceased with multiple stabbed wounds on the upper body lying on the floor, and the suspect was not found. The 16-year-old girl was satisfied dead on the scene and the 22-year-old suspect was arrested after being handed over to the police by his family.
The murder weapon was not found yet. The suspect will appear in Moretele magistrate court facing charges of murder.
