Wendy Bongiwe Mpendulo aka WENDYB, is a born again child of God. Her circumstances that were not so favourable for her made her to think and use the talents and the gift of God into good use and pursue her passion and divine destiny.
A Master of Arts in Development Studies Degree holder, Wendy is a self-proclaimed entrepreneur, who has throughout the years without fail demonstrated the passion for turning challenges into opportunities. At some point Wendy opened and operated an upmarket Tshisanyama cuisine In Hammanskraal at Mandela Village, which specialised in KASI MEALS, and AFRICAN CUISINE. Wendy B performed jazz live in corporate gigs under the guidance and together with artist like Lebo Mogale, Thabo Sekgonyane, Sipho Malinga and David Mbolela performing afro jazz genre. She performed solo in restaurants like Afro Lounge back then in Pretoria North and State theatre.
Corporate gigs in different government departments and private functions is what has given her a following and exposure in the industry For the past four years she mistered in a church in Silverton leading Worship team, until she left the church to pursue her gospel solo career. Wendy B ministering career has finally assisted her to put together a gospel single “Uthando Lwakho” which will be launched on the 29 September 2016 at State Theatre.
“Uthando lwakho refers to the love of God that has brought me into the feet of God once again. “This single has two version a Jazz and House version that will change the lives of those listening in their cars, houses, business and everywhere,’ she said.
WendyB will be ministering gospel music locally, continentally and internationally to people and wishes to win more souls to Christ through praise and worship.
“Indeed all things are possible with God,” she says humbly.
