President Jacob Zuma yesterday appointed Adv. Ngoako Ramathlodi to be the new Minister for Public Service and Administration and Mr Mosebenzi Zwane as Minister of Mineral Resources.

This follows the vacancy left by the late Minister Collins Chabane in March 2015. “I wish to thank the Minister of Arts and Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa, who has been acting as Minister of Public Service and administration since March,” President Jacob Zuma said. Adv. Ramathlodi is a Cabinet member who was serving as the Minister for Minerals Resources.
Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bongani Majola said the position of Minister of Mineral Resources will be filled by Mosebenzi Joseph Zwane who is a Member of Parliament and was previously Agriculture and Rural Development MEC as well as Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs in the Free State provincial government.
“Mr Zwane will be sworn in as Minister today, 23 September 2015, at 16h00 at the Union Buildings in Pretoria,” Mr Majola said.
