A Drug and Substance Abuse (DSA) Summit will be held in Tshwane on 16 October 2015 at the Metro Police headquarters in Pretoria West from 9:00 to 15:00.

The purpose of this summit is to consult with all relevant stakeholders to reflect and map interventions in an integrated manner that will make an impact in the fight against DSA.
Media Director at the City of Tswhane, Mr Lindela Mashigo, said the summit will contribute towards creating a drug free City of Tshwane. “This program is informed by the National Drug Master Plan which aims to reach 360 key stakeholders involved in the work of fighting the scourge of drug and substance abuse,” he said.
He said the summit also aim to promote and strengthen working relations on the programme, provide space for stakeholders to indicate how they can contribute in the fight against DSA, provide progress report and future commitments on the programme, and to receive the research finding from the University of Pretoria.
