Appreciating that drugs are a scourge on the community and keep citizens away from productivity and often driven to drug-related crime and illicit activity, City of Tshwane committed R40 million in the 2017/18 financial year towards the fight against drugs by supporting civil society organisations in their efforts to combat this problem.

The service level agreements will outline the level of service expected from the various service providers in dealing comprehensively with the drug problem.
