Temba SAPS concluded Madiba Month at their adopted Centre, Fanang DIiatla, for people living with disability to donate food parcels for the kids on Friday 28 July.
The Temba police station employees and the Management raised money to help donate food parcels to the Centre that teaches people living with disability hand work.
Communication officer, Constable Herman Moremi, said “I am happy that we have achieved what we wanted to achieve from our pockets to conclude Madiba Month as a station with this Centre that we adopted in 2016”.
Social worker of Temba Police Station, Warrant Officer Malebo Mashilo, who is working closely with the Centre said since they have adopted the Centre they celebrate significant holidays and events with the Kids to make them feel like any other kids.
Centre Manager, Mrs Onika Sebokedi, who joined Fanang DiatlaCentre since 1994 thanked Temba police stations and said, “we thank the police that they brought us some food, we eat a lot in this Centre.”
Mrs Sebokedi pleaded with the community to donate to the Centre and said the Fanang Diatla is open to any kind of donation.
