The 36-year-old man suspected of allegedly murdering his 40-year-old girlfriend, Ms Nothando Mathonzi, 10 October 2017 will appear at the Moretele District Magistrate court tomorrow to face charges of murder.
The suspect was arrested on 10 October 2017 after the police were alerted of an alleged murder at Carousel View where they found the deceased in a pool of blood.
“According to witnesses, the couple had been fighting in the house before the police could be called to the scene where they found a woman dead in the house.” Said Captain Sarah Lesabane, of the Temba Corporate Communications.
The suspect who allegedly sustained injuries on his upper body was arrested on the scene and taken to the nearest Hospital under police guard to receive medical attention and was arrested upon being discharged from hospital.
