Temba SAPS with different pastoral churches, Tshepo, Temba, Mmotla, Marapyane, Kopano, Seabe and Father Joseph joined in prayer for reduction of crime on Sunday at Marokolong St Camillus.
The congregation was encouraged to continue praying for a reduction in crimes relating to murder, assault, gender-based violence, house robberies, business robberies and car hijackings.
Captain Sarah Lesabane of Corporate Communications at Temba SAPS said crime prevention tips were also communicated and two hundred pamphlets were distributed.
“The congregation was encouraged to report any form of abuse to the police because as SAPS we commit ourselves to assist all citizens in our country,” she said.
