A 39-year-old man was arrested for being a suspect in the killing of his girlfriend in Temba. This is after the police were called on Thursday at around 10:00 to a house where they found a 32-year-old woman was found in the bathroom in a bath full of water and bloodstains on the floor.
The accused was arrested in Limpopo after he was seen leaving the place they rented together in Temba with the deceased’s car.
This is after they had an argument before what is suspected to be the incident of the murder.
After leaving with the deceased car, the accused was reported to have been involved in an accident in Limpopo and admitted to a hospital.
The police went to the hospital where he was found with minor injuries and was arrested. He was detained at Temba holding cells and appeared in court on Monday where he remanded in custody for bail application.
The deceased is residing at Renstown and the suspect at Tambo village and they rented a room at Temba where the incident occurred.
