There was a planned power supply shutdown today in Hammanskraal meant to energize the newly installed panels in the substation. This scheduled extensive work included installation of cables, testing and energizing – thus resulting in a power outage from 8h00 until 17h00.
Areas affected included Renstown, Renbro Junction and Total Garage.
Customers are forewarns for any inconvenience that may arise during the period of the substation upkeep.
