The Perseverance Rural Development Centre distributed food parcels to 100 families in Ramotse, Marokolong, Portion 9, Mandela village and Bridgeview.
Perseverance Rural Development Centre is a Non-governmental Organizations which started in 1998 with the aim of looking after the disadvantaged children and Orphans.
Ms Minkie Mokubela(45), project manager of the center said ” We distribute food parcels to 100 families Monthly. Our center has board members, management and care takers that assist in distributing food to the disadvantaged houses every month.
“To distribute the 100 food parcels, the department of social Development is responsible financially and Mr Musson of Thapelo Supermarket donates five food parcels monthly to the community of Ramotse only at the moment, but at later stage, he will cover other areas as a way of giving back to the community,” said Ms Mokubela.
